1. Scope of Services

Chilliwack Design will provide the following services under the Website Pro Plan at $99/month:

• Everything in Essentials:
• Core WordPress, theme, and plugin updates
• Virus and malware scans
• Daily off-site backups
• Uptime monitoring
• Monthly maintenance reporting
• Email support (up to 2 inquiries per month)
• Peace of Mind & Local Support in Chilliwack, BC
• Plus These Pro Features:
• 1 Hour of Website Edits, SEO Tweaks, or Troubleshooting
• Priority Email Support
• Broken Link Monitoring & Fixes
• Monthly Database Cleanup
• Monthly SEO & Analytics Report
• Quarterly Site & SEO Review

This plan is intended for standard small business websites. Sites with complex functionality such as eCommerce, membership systems, advanced customizations, or over 25 pages may require a custom quote or modified service agreement.

The included 1 hour of support covers minor monthly updates such as text edits, plugin adjustments, or basic SEO fixes. New pages, large content uploads, design changes, and new features may be quoted separately.

Unused time does not roll over. Support is provided during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm PST), and priority email support inquiries are responded to within 1 business day.

Broken links identified through monthly scans will be fixed at no additional charge.

Any additional services — such as troubleshooting issues caused by updates — will be billed at $80/hour with prior client approval.

This plan does not include time for troubleshooting third-party issues (e.g. hosting outages, plugin conflicts, firewall rules). Any such work will be quoted separately at the standard hourly rate.

2. Client Reporting

At the start of each month, Chilliwack Design will email the client a detailed report documenting the maintenance activities performed in the prior month. This report will confirm that the following tasks were completed:

• Core WordPress, theme, and plugin updates
• Virus and malware checks
• Daily backups
• Uptime monitoring
• Broken Link Monitoring & Fixes
• Monthly SEO & Analytics Report
• Quarterly Site & SEO Review (delivered every 3rd monthly report)

This report will serve as documentation of the services provided and the website’s maintenance status.

Reports are based on data available through Google Analytics, Search Console, and industry-standard SEO tools. Clients must provide access credentials if not already connected.

3. Term and Termination

Website maintenance plans are billed month-to-month at $99 CAD. A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required for cancellation. Services included are outlined above. Any work beyond these inclusions (e.g., content edits, plugin conflicts, or design changes) will be quoted separately at $80/hour.

4. Payment Terms

The client agrees to a WordPress website monthly maintenance fee of $99.

Automatic billing begins on the date of signup, and will recur on that same calendar day each month via Square’s secure payment system. Invoices will be issued monthly for your records.

If a payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days, maintenance services may be paused until the account is brought current.

5. Limitations and Exclusions

• Compatibility Issues: Chilliwack Design is not responsible for conflicts caused by third-party plugins or themes. Troubleshooting is billed hourly.
• Client-Caused Errors: Issues caused by client or third-party changes are not covered. Repairs will be quoted separately.
• Scope of Support: Support is limited to maintenance tasks covered by this plan. New features, redesigns, or strategy work are not included.

6. Liability

Chilliwack Design is not liable for damages resulting from third-party updates, security breaches, or unforeseen technical issues. All reasonable efforts will always be made to maintain your site’s functionality, security, and uptime.

7. Revisions to Terms

Terms and pricing are subject to change with 30 days’ notice.
